After a cancelation in 2020, Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc is back with a top-stars line-up on it’s different races, to be held in August if the conditions allows for it. Six former UTMB winner could be on the starting line. Fingers crossed and let’s hope it won’t get canceled!

The cover page of the newest Ultrarunning Magazine features a Jim Walmsley in full action, as he pushes hard to reach the world record for the 100 km road run time. The « Project Carbon X2 », in January, was organized by Hoka One One in Arizona. Walmsley missed the mark by a mere 12 seconds.

As 2020 competitions were canceled, elite american athlete Kaytlyn Gerbin set herself up to an FKT attempt on the beautiful, rugged and steep « Wonderland Trail », in Washington State. The film Summer of Wonder recounts her effort around Mount Rainier, with a strong finish, as she made it through nausea and lots of climbing.
Zach Miller (winner of the Lavaredo 2018) reflects on the apparent ease with which some athletes achieve great results. As he explains in this inspired blog post, it is never easy on run a long distance!
