When it comes to the recent shake-up of the upcoming Han Solo film, it isn’t fair to blame either party, even if it is more exciting to take the sides of creators against a bureaucratic power. But if one’s going to play in the sandbox, they also need to play by the rules.
Ozdil’s script Tech & Stryker generated considerable buzz from the 2016 Launch Pad Feature Competition where it placed in the Top 75. The script received high marks for its fun and smart premise and was praised by judges for its innovate action set pieces, and the hilarious dynamic between the story’s two polar opposite leads.
The popular SoCal film fest announced its winners which included Elizabeth Rohrbaugh and Daniel Powell’s musical drama Becks for U.S. Fiction Award and the supernatural drama The Keeping Hours starring Lee Pace and Carrie Coon for Audience Award for Fiction Feature Film.
