The creator of Starz’s Spartacus series and showrunner for the first season of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix talks about following Guillermo del Toro on the giant robot (and monster) sequel.
Written by SNL vets Emily Spivey and Liz Cackowski, the film will co-star Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph and of course, Tina Fey. As the title suggests, it involves a trip to Napa, California.
Sherryl Clark will produce the horror thriller, which follows the sole survivor of a plane crash, who washes ashore on a mysterious island where she faces her worst fears.
Nanjiani will play a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu who picks up a grizzled cop (Bautista) and gets sucked into his hunt for a vicious killer. Can he survive the chase and keep his five-star rating intact?
The story follows a woman who wakes up with amnesia, only to discover it’s her wedding day. She has to remember who she is, figure out who she’s marrying, and decide whether to go through with the ceremony.
Barber relaunched Orion Pictures, led the company’s $1 billion acquisition of Epix, cut costs across divisions, and squeezed every penny possible out of MGM’s library with the help of streaming platforms that were hungry for content. So what’s behind his abrupt exit?
