Netflix is continuing to expand its slate of original films with Happy Anniversary, to be written and directed by Jared Stern. Industry Entertainment and Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment are producing the project.

Freeform has given a 12-episode series order to the upcoming drama The Bold Type. Sarah Watson, a writer for Parenthood, created the show, which is inspired by the life of former Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles.
