🌶️
Meshuggah (tech/djent from Sweden. FFO: Gojira, Strapping Young Lad, Tesseract - all played at the same time)
I’ve seen Meshuggah live just once, but I’ll never forgot what a… complicated experience that was. I wanted to move, obviously. I mean it’s such driving, moving music. But none of my limbs could do anything that made sense. Anyway. This is another record that sometimes feels like hard work to listen to, but it does pay off.
🌶️
Satan (NWOBHM from the UK. FFO: Iron Maiden, Angel Witch, your dad’s best records)
You gotta love a band that could claim this name right? They’ve been around since before I was born, but I picked them up with the comeback album in 2013, and they’re at their third album since them - number six in total. Nothing indicates Satan is holding back. Are they getting better? This is great.
