Goodmorning all,
How is your week?
Do you know the ITP 2.1 update? With ITP 2.1, all persistent client-side Safari cookies, i.e. persistent cookies created through document.cookie, are capped to a seven day expiry.
This can have major impact for A/B testing. I did some research and asked some of the biggest A/B test tool providers for their solution. They all responded: “we working on it”. Let’s see how this will continue in the next weeks / months. If I have an update off course I will share the outcome in this newsletter.
What else in this newsletter?
  • An A/B test in slow motion: before your experiment becomes significant
  • A/B testing for mobile-first experiences
  • Zooming out before diving in: What are you solving?
  • Send event hits before pageview hits in Google Analytics
Enjoy your week.
Cheers!
Tom
