Last weekend I did a short trip to Marbella. What a beautiful place!
While on the train I had a lot of time to unwind and read. One of the main takeaways, I keep thinking about is how bad I’m at predicting the future, yet, I keep making wild and inaccurate predictions and projections.
One of the ways to improve my forecasting skills, (mostly just to confirm how inaccurate my projections are) I started writing down my predictions for my career, family, travels. After a while, I’ll review these predictions with hopes to improve my decision-making process.
Other than that, free form writing is very liberating. Try it yourself.

I can’t remember where I found this, I suspect it was Jonny Miller’s newsletter. But here’s a crowdsourced big decision sheet full of great ideas that may help you make better decisions.
Some things are a lot more important than others. This lengthy piece will help you better understand the complex world we live in.
Nothing is as influential as World War II has been. But there are a few other Big Things worth paying attention to, because they’re the root influencer of so many other topics.

While hard work is obviously required, good decisions take form in a separate realm. Naval Ravikant has a great line: “if you’re leveraged with capital, code, or people, and own equity, then good decisions have a much larger earning impact than hard work.”
