Hello my friend!
It’s interesting how the environment affects your behavior. I’m a true believer of designing your own life but most of the time you’re a product of your environment. No matter how disciplined and determined you are, you’ll lose the battle with your environment.
I worked for myself for almost a decade and I realized that in some places I perform better than in others. I noticed that some people make me feel happier and more content just by being around, while others suck the energy out of me with a single word.
So, in the end, I’m thinking, life design is not really pure “life” design, it’s your environment design. Life is dynamic and changes constantly. The environment, on the other hand, is somewhat static and predictable. Instead of trying to fix everything in your life, try to find an environment for you to thrive. You probably have some places where you think better, eat healthier, feel happier and get more stuff done.
If you can’t get what you want in life, try changing up your environment. Go to the mall, library, airport, train station, bar, cafe, opera house, park, bank. The list is endless.
Welcome to another edition of Life Designed where I share the knowledge and resources to help you live better.
