Hello! Two days late, but still here! The top five of this week contains stories about rubber tires and what’s wrong with our weekends. Working hard and crashing on fridays with a movie night? Maybe it’s time to rethink your weekend. Hint: it’s about extending yourself. Sounds like work? Perhaps it does. Talking about work, some people prefer to work in sprints, others work in long hauls. What’s best? The answer is probably balance. Which Chris Froome probably needs when he is descending, he trendsetted the super tuck on his bike while descending and peddling at the same time. Do not try that at home. Yesterday the Tour had a recharge, and if rumors are spreading a Chinese PE firm is looking to buy a lithium miner in Chili, a raw material we all use to recharge our batteries. Anyway, hope you enjoy the top five and back next week!

4. Should work be done in sprints?
“Sprinting” 80 hours a week is not the answer. How to work at a sustainable pace?
|
5. GM commits to 'green' natural rubber for millions of tires
GM is pledging to buy sustainable natural rubber for the 49 million tires it buys a year under a plan aimed at helping small farmers while protecting company profits by ensuring the material’s long-term availability.
