Aah the holiday season. Great food, a time to relax and enjoy friends and family. Crowded roads, long lines at the store, crowded airports and people getting frustrated. Don’t you just love the holiday travel season?
Check out these holiday travel tips from the Travel Channel. Best advice, leave early and plan for delays whether driving or flying.

There is an almost sub culture of people that engage in Travel Hacking.  Travel hacking is a term used by folks that use various reward and miles credit cards to rack up thousands of air miles. The best ones treat it almost as a business. There are ways to responsibly use cards to gain reward miles with the airlines but you have to be disciplined. Pay off the card balance monthly.  Some cards have great sign up rewards. One of the easiest to qualify for miles is the AMEX Delta Skywards card. After spending only $1,000 in 3 months you get 30,000 bonus miles. There are a lot of sites geared towards travel hacking if you want to learn about it.
