Test out this new feature with me.

I have something special for all of you audience strategists, editors and producers in journalism (and adjacent industries). Consider this my gift to you for the holidays!
When Twitter rolled out Communities, I jumped at the chance to submit a request to create one. And last week, I got word that I had been added to a pilot program to create my own community.
I recently started a new hashtag and Twitter list for audience strategists, editors, producers and our work in journalism. Our jobs keep us invisible while we continuously find new ways to amplify others. We don’t often get the same energy behind us in return, and it’s time to give credit where credit is due.
Surprised/not surprised that there isn’t #AudienceJournos yet. So I’ll start it with this tweet.

*They* need us more than ever.
Introducing: #AudienceJournos, a place for audience strategists, editors and producers in journalism (and adjacent industries) to network, learn from each other and finally be visible.
If you’d like an invite, please follow the #AudienceJournos list and send me a DM when you do. That’s it!
You’ll be one of the first to be part of this community. And if you haven’t tried Twitter Communities yet, you’ll be in one of the earliest waves of people to use the feature.
I hope to see you in #AudienceJournos! This year has been incredible for me in the digital space, and I wanted to give back to all of you who have read and supported this newsletter.
I am so proud of what we’re building here, and so happy we’re getting noticed.
Have a wonderful holiday season!
Until next time,
