In the 1970s, a community of “Deadheads” began traveling the world to do little more than see the band The Grateful Dead in concert. In 2019 a band of front-end developers known as the JAMheads began traveling the world to do nothing more than to go to JAMstack conferences and Meetups, celebrating their freedom from servers. The last time they met was in London. Here are some impressions by a few of the JAMheads: Phil Hawksworth, Christopher Zimmermann, and Knut Melvaer. Now it’s time to gear up for the SF conference in October.
