Build Better Faster Websites: the New Dynamic 10/20

Wow. I’m questioning my move to a bi-weekly format. I thought the pace of news and articles in the JAMstack space was slowing down, but maybe not. We’ve recently seen renewed validation for the space with an additional $30m funding round for Netlify, led by Kleiner Perkins’ Mamoon Hamid with Andreessen Horowitz and the founders of Slack, Yelp, GitHub and Figma participating. That’s some serious validation.
I’m seeing job postings where knowledge of static site generators is a requirement, and, here on the ground, we continue to see innovation with new tools and a march to a rich ecosystem of tools working together. I particularly enjoyed reading Sam Bhagwat’s (co-founder of GatsbyJS) article “Delivering Modern Website Experiences: The Journey to a Content Mesh,"—linked to below— that really gives you the sense that we’re just getting started.
Personal note: In a couple of weeks I’ll be speaking at the JAMstack Conf in San Francisco (details below). If you’re going to be there, please do give me a shoutout so we can meet up. I’ll also be attending the Smashing Magazine Conference in NYC this week, so please do say hello if you’re there.

Also, if you want to share a link for us to post, hit us up in our Slack community, or on Twitter.
