The Artist Spotlight
Let’s welcome and start getting to know about these three wonderful artists and creators of the NFT Space! ✨ Linda, NFTantwoman and Dilek, ladies and gentlemen!
✨ Linda
Who are you? Tell us about yourself!
I am a photographer/digital artist based in Norway and I have been creating photo-based art since around 2014. I do this in balance with my regular job in a non profit organization.
I enjoy telling stories based on photography, digital drawing and compositing, being very into symbolism and mixing bits and pieces of my own history and surroundings into my art.
I am an introvert who loves dark chocolate, cats, heavy metal and spending time reflecting on life and existence.

What inspires you? What does your art mean to you? What does it represent?
I find a lot of inspiration in philosophy, dreams, history and my general outlook on life. I feel very connected to my art and it is all very personal for me.
I discovered this creative outlet going through some rough times in my life. My camera, together with photoshop, became the best therapy in so many ways. I am thankful to have found this side of me.
Starting out I did a lot of self portrait-based images and feel these are the foundation for all my creative work. The themes that can be found in most of my images are about finding light in darkness, a way forward, hope and strength.
For me it represents introspection, freedom and personal growth.
How do you make your art? Materials, techniques, inner sights etc. What motivates you?
It always starts out from being inspired to express a feeling or an idea. From that I figure out how this can be put into a visual image. I have a variety of ways to get to the end result, but the first thing on the canvas is always a photo. Building on that with compositing different elements and sometimes adding digital paint/watercolors as well.
I shoot my own stock and have built a sizable and varied library over the years. This allows me to sometimes create from what I have in my archives and not always having to shoot for new ideas.  I love how the mind works and the initial process of visualization and thinking in layers is something I really enjoy.
As for motivation I guess I could say that emotion is what gets me going. Expressing an emotion or trying to evoke one.
Imagine everyone will read this. What would you like to say to people who would be interested in your art?
I come from the more traditional art world and have been selling limited edition prints and exhibiting my work for a number of years. Both through gallery representation and my own website. Over the years I have accumulated a nicely sized portfolio but do not produce large amounts of work. Most of the time I do have an idea or piece in the works, but a very small percentage of that makes it into my portfolio or even social media platforms. It has to feel exactly right for that to happen. :)
The way I always created, and continue to do, is by intuition and as an expression of life. Creating art is a part of my being and sometimes I make visual stories of how I feel or view the world.
I let my artistic expression evolve, experiment and change naturally, very much like myself as a human being moving forward in this life. This means that looking at my portfolio you will find different genres represented. The most recent being animated photography and photo-composites mixed with digital watercolor. I try not to limit myself, enjoying the process and seeing where it takes me.

NFTantwoman
Who are you? Tell us about yourself!
HI! I’m NFTantwoman. My real name is Shimrit, but Shim is also ok. I’m a digital artist and I love creating motion and animation. My style is varied. I like to deal with personal issues and experiences, and I Also touch philosophical issues. I’m fascinated with the connection of art and technology and love exploring new possibilities with this boundary breaking.
What inspires you? What does your art mean to you? What does it represent?
I know it’s a cliché, but everything inspires me. I can get inspired by things I see, from other works of art and sometimes I even think of something I want to create out of nowhere.
How do you make your art? Materials, techniques, inner sights etc. What motivates you?
I work mostly with after effects, and I also use photoshop and illustrator. The assets I’m working with can be real or digital illustrations, footages, or I create everything from 0 on the program.
I sometimes create as an expression of my personal feelings or what I am going through. Some of my works come from a desire to express some idea that interests me and sometimes I try to create out of fun and playfulness.
Imagine everyone will read this. What would you like to say to people who would be interested in your art?
I love to experiment with different mediums, styles and inspirations in my art. NFTs allowed me to be the artist I have always been, for the first time in my life. The possibilities of NFTs excite me and I’m here for the long run. Selling art is not my only purpose. I’m here to build the community and be part of the movement to change the art world.
I’m passionate about Art as a language. I like expressing things with it and by that I get inspired and connect with people. I’m also passionate about being playful with art. Experiment and try different things without fear.
If you follow my journey as an artist, accept surprises!

Dilek
Who are you? Tell us about yourself!
This is Dilek and I’m from Turkey. I have graduated from law faculty and finished my thesis about Intellectual Property. I always wanted to paint when i was a child but because of the conditions, i studied law. After a while I started to paint, I started to paint vector illustrations about monsters and some cute circumstances. Then I had my solo exhibition in Ankara, Turkey, it was an amazing day for me, half of my paintings were sold. While I was working I continued to paint, Then I created an instagram profile about car illustrations and sold a lot of paintings to car lovers. Then i met with the NFT world and , created my first collection called Jellyfish.

What inspires you? What does your art mean to you? What does it represent?
After I met the NFT world, I was a little bit confused where to start and I attended many twitter spaces, then I found out that I had to paint what makes me happy instead of what collectors are looking for. At that time I was interested at jellyfish and I searched what they symbolize, how they give birth , reproduce, have sex, types of jellyfish like Immortal jellyfish and then something amazing happened and total 8 pieces of Jellyfish Collection were sold out!
Then I met with Bioluminescent Creatures and I started to create my second collection to show people how those creatures are amazing, how they live. I started to show them connected with the human body. The most important part for me was showing people my experiences with these collections. I first give information about these creatures, i am making a connection with human life and show a way to people to follow as I survived from those experiences and mistakes, so valuable and coming from my heart. It totally represents my experiences and light.
Besides those 2 collections I started to create my 3rd collection which is called Everything is Connected. And I just minted my new piece called “Wisdom” which means a lot to me to show the meaning of Existence in life. This collection makes me so excited. The darkness, experiences, information, mistakes, hard times, existence, beauty, questions in my mind and how I find myself and how I become, these are the main subjects I share with my NFTs.
How do you make your art? Materials, techniques, inner sights etc. What motivates you?
I make my art with Procreate after searching for a lot of information, I like to play with light. As light motivates me, darkness also.
Imagine everyone will read this. What would you like to say to people who would be interested in your art?
I had dark moments in my life and it was really hard to survive, but in the end I survived and I became. Imagine you are starting your life from the beginning and I am the one coming from the future to give you some answers that I could figure out, then you will see it.
