Marketing deals you can't miss

Happy Sunday! 

The holidays are upon us! This week is a short work week for most of us and the beginning of the holiday shopping season. 

I don’t know about you, but I’m not a go to the store and fight it out for good deals type of person.

I’m an online shopper, so I’ll be doing all of my Black Friday shopping from the comfort of my home. 

I’ve started a broad list of things I’d like to purchase for Black Friday: 

Black Friday is also my favorite time of year to purchase marketing goodies.

Here’s a list of must-haves that I like to purchase during Black Friday every year. Please note that most of these companies haven’t yet posted their deals, so it’s best to check on Friday. But, from my experience, this is when they offer their best deals of the year.

Lifetime Subscription to Elegant Themes (affiliate link) - I already have a lifetime license to Divi as I’ve used it for every WordPress site I own or have designed since 2015. But, I share this with my friends every year as they have amazing deals during Black Friday that include lots of freebies. If you’re looking for a simple website builder, this is the time to buy it. I recommend the lifetime license, but you can get their annual license and upgrade next Black Friday.

ShortPixel - The best image optimization software. I use the WordPress plugin to optimize images on websites automatically. But you can also use their website for various image optimization needs. Every year during Black Friday, I stock up on thousands of image credits that usually hold me over until the following year. 

Flywheel - My favorite WordPress hosting company usually puts out some good Black Friday deals on annual hosting plans. 

UpdraftPlus - An excellent WordPress backup plugin. Their migration add-on is a must-have for anyone who designs websites for clients and needs to easily migrate them to the client’s server.

RankMath - The best SEO plugin for WordPress I’ve ever used, but it gets pricey for business websites. Friday will be a good time to upgrade to one of their paid plans. I’ll be extending my existing plan then.

WP Rocket - My favorite WordPress caching plugin, but it’s pretty pricey. I’m looking forward to extending my subscription on Black Friday.

Cleantalk - Best WordPress anti-spam solution. Their prices are usually very affordable any time of the year, but you can get it for extra cheap on Black Friday.

Deposit Photo - Technically, this deal is through AppSumo, but it’s one I like to stock up on almost every time they make it available. You can purchase stock photo and vector image credits that never expire. This is one of those deals, like Shortpixel, that you can grab a bunch of for the year and purchase again during the next Black Friday deal.

Bonus for those of you into or who want to get into crypto and trading, Trading View charting software will have a great Black Friday as well. (Shoutout to my fiance, 🥰 Greg, for the info.)

If you’ve been eyeing other software or services, it may be a good idea to make a list of what you’re looking for and check on Friday to see if they have any deals. If they don’t, you can buy it at the price you would have paid today. But if they do, you’ll be upset that you spent more just a few days prior.
