Hello The Edition familia, happy Friday! Today we’re going to talk about Web 3.0, COP26, Apple, The Blockchain Academy, and much more. Let’s just dive into it, shall we?
Ok, so… last week I told you that I was accepted again on Start It Up and I made an article called How To Build an Online Community. If you’re a writer or a content creator I strongly advise you to read this, and I’m gonna tell you why.
This is not the usual story about Tips and Trick on “How to do something”, no, no, no. I’ve been making some research about Web 3.0 because I wanted to learn more about this new concept.
So, Web 3.0 (as Crypto and NFT) is relatively new. The concept is not new, it’s been on the web there for a while, but the development of this concept in the real world is new.
And, what I found out is that, basically, Web 3.0 is a decentralized Blockchain protocol where will allow creators to finally take full ownership over their work, and also full ownership over the platform that they use to publish their work.
Centralized platforms like Facebook (now Meta), Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok are becoming part of the past. Yes, it’s true that is too early (yet) but little by little decentralized platforms like Subsocial and BitClout are gaining more and more users.
And frankly, if you read it carefully you will find out that everything is connected and everything makes sense: cryptocurrencies, blockchain, NFTs, decentralized platforms, fan tokens, etc.
I leave you the link below to the story so can read it, and then make your own research about Web 3.0. (this is purely educational) but if you’re a content creator, I think that this is something you definitely should have in mind.

Moving on to a different subject, we need to continue talking about COP26 and the climate crisis. I’m very disappointed how things went at this conference. Today is the last day of COP26, and frankly, there are still a lot of things to be done. There were a lot of promises (again) but it’s basically just noise.
I know you’re probably telling me right now “and what did you expect from politicians?” and you’re right. I never believed in politicians, but the thing is that we all need to be on the same ship, so everyone needs to be heard. But what we heard is just a bunch of empty promises.
Anyway… COP26 is a really important event to fight climate change, and I’m going to share with you an inside story about what really happened there and not what the news wants you to believe that happened in the conference.
And, how do I know this information? Well, because I’m part of a global movement called Oxfam, where I have friends that went to Glasgow to represent our community and be an active part of the conference. So, please read it.
It’s really important to be an active part of the movement and protect our home.

I have some exciting news! The Blockchain Academy is coming back. Well… sort of. You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about what happened on Medium, and frankly, I won’t let any centralized platform or an algorithm stop me to do my work. And, I love Medium, I really do. But there’s a lot of scammers out there and I hate to see messages from people that say that they’ve been scammed with cryptos and one of the main problems is the misinformation. And I believe that if we have knowledge about this we need to share it with the world, especially on something really new!
I know in my heart I didn’t do anything wrong.
In fact, every time I published something about crypto I included a disclaimer where I tell everyone that the story is purely educational and that is never financial advice. Also, everything that I talk about Crypto is from an engineering perspective. Why? Because I’m an engineer.
So, the main goal to talk about crypto is to 1. Educate people, and that’s it. But, if you want to invest in it then: 2. Encourage you to make your own research about that crypto and 3. Now that you have enough information about that crypto you can decide if it is worth it to invest in it or not. But it’s totally up to you. It’s never investment advice and I’m never going to talk about numbers.
Purely Educational.
The Blockchain Academy is coming back on Vocal. They’re crypto-friendly and in fact, they have their own community called Chain. I leave you the link here in case you want to check it out.
We will continue learning about this wonderful world of cryptos! I’ll let you know when the first article is published.
We’re back people, let’s celebrate it! 🥳
