Target Ovarian Cancer Prize 2021
The Target Ovarian Cancer essay prize 2021 is now live!
The essay prize is open to all UK undergraduate medical students, and the top prize is £750.
Awareness of ovarian cancer is low, both among women and healthcare professionals, with two thirds of women diagnosed once the cancer has already spread, making the disease harder to treat. Delays in diagnosis can have a devastating impact so it is crucial that healthcare professionals in a wide range of specialties are aware of the presenting symptoms of ovarian cancer.
Together we can make sure women in the UK have the best chances of survival, by ensuring the doctors of tomorrow are more aware of ovarian cancer.
Information on how to apply can be found at targetovariancancer.org.uk/essayprize
