Bees are essential for the entire planet to survive. Their presence, as pollinating insects, plays a role of primary importance because, without real awareness of their actions, the consequences on a global level would be devastating.
The research findings stress that land-use practices such as intensive agriculture, over-grazing, and the partition of landscapes and habitats are highly detrimental to pollinating insects, including honey bees.
According to scientific reports, systemic insecticides such as those used as seed coatings, which migrate from the roots through the entire plant, all the way to the flowers, can potentially cause chronic toxic exposure to non-target pollinators.
For concrete actions for people and the earth.
