It is Black History Month in the UK and the vibe has not been ‘vibing’ and obviously overshadowed by Brexit and all its drama. Do the Brits have enough influence to claim a whole month in Fall to celebrate? As we ponder that, we are still out here, carving our own paths, influencing culture and reclaiming our birthrights. Pride is peak when we think of Kenya establishing a refinery to process their own gold.
We have a whole table now on Spotify where african and afro-influenced artists can upload to and cash in on the platform and Snapchat clearly know that creativity lies in the mind of black teenagers.
We are forging ahead and claiming our spaces and our coin too. Nothing is too small, little drops of water makes a mighty ocean.
