“Black voices matter- and so do black votes.” The headline of our first story in this edition of the Mojisola Report captures the current narrative in black politics and governance today. Today, millions of Americans, particularly black voters, celebrate their hard work in putting the leader of their choice in power. The mobilizing, organizing, consistent support, and finally, the victory is an inspiration for all black people; That a unified voice is so much stronger than hate, fear, and division.
