The political scene globally is on fire, and black people the world over are feeling the heat. Whether you are in America celebrating the first black woman VP or in Ivory Coast praying for a peaceful post election transition or in Nigeria asking to #endSARS or in the UK wondering how the looming Brexit will impact upon immigration, education and other social issues, one thing is clear: there has never been a better time to be young, black and civic minded. Where ever you are, there is something you can do to impact the world around you. Now, more than ever, Africans and Afrodiasporans are taking a stand and the world is watching.
