Hi there!
Here is a list of 7 beta apps I’ve added to the catalog this week! AnTuTu Beta is the app I was extensively using 8 years ago when I was testing Android hardware devices at my first job.
On the news side - I am doing a new experiment on my Telegram channel. I post all news headlines individually and adding more info to them as soon as they receive upvotes. More info means - additional description, visuals or even full coverage of the topic.
So far, we got 3 🔥 and 4 🔥 for some topics and I want to list most interesting of them right here in the newsletter. There were no 5 🔥 yet, but I hope that we can reach this threshold very soon.

Top Beta News
4 🔥 Xiaomi MIUI
- Notifications sound effect now changes over time in MIUI 11
As it was announced on official Twitter of MIUI as a part of MIUI 11 rollout campaign. Notifications also change their color during the day from light to dark. On a side note, MIUI made it’s official debut on Europe on November 6 and hit 38 million users.
Surprised! We are happy to announce that on MIUI11, notifications’ sound effect is changed by time. Tune-up to experience it now.
4 🔥 Telegram
- Tip - You can search by date to find messages from a specific day, whether it’s a trip down memory lane or retracing your steps after a wild weekend party #TelegramTips
4 🔥 Chrome
- New quick tabs menu is live on Chrome stable. Appears after a long tap on the tab icon.
That makes it easier to navigate to new tabs. A regular New Tab button is located on the top left corner and it is tricky to get there with one hand.
4 🔥 Google Photos
- Now promotes a document cropping extension in the editing tab. Not new but was pushed to more users. To try it out you can take a screenshot and enter an “edit mode”. The most right menu should have an extensions section and a “crop document option”. The cropping tool also allows you to adjust the angle of the image.
