A weekly digest of TestingCatalog about Android apps and beta testing. Explore unreleased apps, feature insights for popular apps, and software testing tips 📲

I finally finished a catalog cleanup! I checked around 600 beta programs and removed around 100 apps from the listing. There were 3 different reasons for removal, the app no longer exists / no longer in the beta / low-quality app. This should help new users to discover interesting beta apps much easier 😎
Why there are so many? There was a huge apps removal wave by Google due to the Google Play requirement update. TestingCatalog app was also removed just because I didn’t have a link to the privacy policy on the Google Play listing page.
Why is it a good thing?
There were too many trash apps out there. It is also an interesting case for TestingCatalog app because since that removal wave we grew from 6000 to 12000 active installs in two weeks! That’s a pretty good number. Why did it happen? Because a similar app for beta testers was removed from the Google Play and it was on the second position before with the “beta” keyword.
Apart from that, I am still fighting with website SEO because Google doesn’t index website properly.
And as usual, there are some new beta news and beta apps below.
