Calling all tech leaders out there 📣
Yes, we’re talking to all of you: CTOs, COOs, Technology Directors, Development Managers, VPs of Engineering.
Being a leader in the IT industry is not an easy job: you need to manage people and, at the same time, be up-to-date with technology. Both at a really high level.
Been there, done that. For the last 7 years we’ve been co-running a software development company, The Software House, and if there’s one thing that all three of us have realised, it’s the fact that:
When you’re a Tech Leader, there’s pretty much no one out there to help you with your job.
You know what we’re talking about, right? There are thousands of newsletters for software devs, billions of blogs for entrepreneurs – but what about people like us? Those who need to know how to code AND how to manage, at the same time.
We admit that it took us quite a while to realise that it’s a serious problem. For a very long time, we’ve just played it down thinking that “well, that’s just the way it is”. Finally, we decided to do something about it.
We talked to our friendly Tech Leaders around the globe – more than a 100 of them – and asked them a few questions.
The questions ranged from “what kind of content do you find most helpful in your job” to “do you read work-related content over the weekend” (if you’re curious: yes, more than 90% of us read job stuff on Saturdays and Sundays).
And what’s the ultimate effect of this survey? Yeah, you guessed it – the newsletter that you’re reading right now. Finally, a place where tech leaders like you and us can find quality, curated content related to both technology and management.
So, without further ado – here’s the first issue of the TechKeeper’s Guide. We hope that you find it more than useful. If you have any questions or suggestions, drop us a line at email@example.com
. But, most of all, remember to…
