Good morning Subscriber!
I know it hasn’t been a week since the last newsletter - thanks to Revue’s issues with Issue 30. 😀 But here we are. And it’s Monday 9am - so time for the latest issue, with the latest happenings!
YouTube has decided to be weird. I know… all social media companies are weird when they want something. And YouTube want’s more engagement for SHORTS - its TikTok Competitor. So for a small group of users across the world, the App will by default open SHORTS when you launch it.
That’s not all though. You will also no longer be able to view the dislike count of videos on YouTube. The company says it is doing this to stop attacks, protect creators and blah blah. But we all know the reason: YouTube uploaded the most disliked video on YouTube. LOL! Anyways, you will still be able to dislike videos, you just won’t see how many other people disliked it. The decision will definitely affect a lot of things about how the platform works as explained here.
Recently, there’s been talk of iPhones having USB Type-C ports. Someone went ahead and made adjustments to their iPhone and introduced a Type-C port to it. It has been sold for $86,0001 on Ebay. Spoiler: the phone can’t be used as a daily driver.
If you want a cheap laptop running Windows 11, cross your fingers and hope the new Microsoft Surface Laptop SE that costs $250 comes to the market.
