Good morning for everyone reading this in the morning. (You know you can enable notifications so that you get to actually read these newsletters in the morning, yeah?)
Last year, when Apple introduced the M1 Chip based on ARM-architecture, no one expected it to be so powerful, so amazing, and so good on battery life. The M1 now powers not only Apple’s MacBooks, but also their new iMac, and the new iPad.
Basically, Apple is currently killing it on performance with the most efficient chip ever on a machine, and everyone wants to replicate that. The question is can anyone do it? Apple builds not only the chip on their machines, they build the hardware, and the software. They can make everything as efficient as they want to.
Anyways, such competition is good. In a few years the chip on your phone will be stupidly powerful and it will be amazing to see what crazy things our phones will be able to do.
