The Question: Windows, Linux or macOS?

The Question: Windows, Linux or macOS?
By Jason Evangelho • Issue #7 • View online
I don’t like to flex my brain much on Sundays.
Somehow Sundays seem better suited to consuming content rather than creating it. That’s why the weekend editions of Tech For Everyone will be shorter than usual.
And yet, Sunday mornings seem perfect for coffee and contemplation…
Pondering which fork in the road of life you’ll choose next. Or wondering if the original Transformers animated series that you adored for so long has aged so poorly to everyone else, too?
Or trying to figure out the content your readers truly want. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to figure that out. Just hit reply and tell me what you want!
✅ Specifically, I want to know what your PC operating system of choice is. If it’s Linux, do you still enjoy hearing opinions or news about the Windows and macOS world? If you prefer Windows or macOS, are you Linux-curious?
The reply button awaits, my friends. Guide me with your wishes.
I’ll turn things over to my friend Paul, now. Short and sweet for Sunday. Until next week, take care of yourself, and take care of each other.

One of several common threads I’ve seen running through my community is a sincere love for music (yes, and coffee but we’ll get to that soon). So, in keeping with this theme of consuming on Sundays rather than creating, I’m inviting some friends to recommend some of the best music you’ve never heard. So you can consume more of what you love.
We begin with Mr. Paul Muldoon, who is constantly sharing under-the-radar gems in the Linux For Everyone telegram group.
🎸 Hello from music junkie Paul Muldoon 🎵
Hello there, my name is Paul and I like music. A lot.
It all started with a Queen Greatest Hits compilation. Now my tastes run the gamut from rock to heavy metal, blues, jazz to country traditional Irish music.
Music is a big part of my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My first recommendation in this little corner of the newsletter is a band from Germany called Wucan. They describe themselves as “Topsy-Turvy Higgledy-Piggledy Folk-Blues-Psych-Stoner-ProtoMetal-Soul with a pinch of confusion” which pretty much nails it better than I could.
Once you get past the obvious Jethro Tull comparison and give the music your full attention, you will hear something really special here.
Each of their 3 albums made my top 5 albums of the year in which they were released. That says it all!
Here, supercharge your Saturday with this 9 minute cover of Diamond Head’s “Am I Evil.” Dig into all their music here.
Did you enjoy this issue?
