Many apologies for the delay….
A total of £539.90 million was raised by 21 technology (including 9 FinTechs) companies over the last 7 days bringing the total for 2019 to £1.815 billion:

  1. London based FinTech bank Starling Bank, which offers mobile app based banking services secured £100 million grant funding from RBS.
  2. London based FinTech bank Clearbank, which claims to be the UK’s first new clearing bank in more than 250 years secured £60 million grant from RBS.
  3. London based Fintech company iwoca, which provides debt finance to businesses raised £150 million Series D investment (£20 million in equity funding) from Augmentum Fintech and Prime Ventures and (£130 million in Lending capital from) NIBC Bank.
  4. London based Fintech (debatable) bank Metrobank, which provides high street banking services as well as mobile banking services secured £120 million Grant from RBS.
  5. Cambridge based MarTech company Imagen, which provides a central media platform raised £6.5 million Series B investment from Downing Ventures, Guinness Asset Management and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
  6. London based RecruTech company Beamery, which makes hiring quicker and more efficient raised undisclosed Series B Follow On from Workday Ventures.
  7. Leicester based FinTech company Thin Cats, which provides business loans from £250k to £15m raised £20 million lending capital from British Business Investments (subsidiary of British Business Bank).
  8. London based FoodTech company Karamu (t/a Feast It), which provides an online marketplace that allows its customers to book independent caterers for their work or social events raised £1.7 million Series A investment from Jon Claydon, Claydon Heeley, Sarah Willingham, John Ayton and Richard Pennycook.
  9. London based InsurTech company TrackActive, which monitors and updates patient programs in real time raised £300k Seed investment from HR Tech Partnership and Seedrs.
  10. London based FinTech company Platfi (t/a Capitalise), which finds finance for your SME clients from over 100 lenders throughout the UK raised £3.5 million Series A investment from QED Investors, Hambro Perks and Gauss Ventures.
  11. London based FinTech cmpany Tail Offers, which provides exclusive discounts for London’s latest and greatest restaurants for Starling and Monzo customers raised £500k Seed investment from Quantum Financial Holdings.
  12. London based EnergyTech company Switchd, which provides free energy switching raised £500k Seed investment from Greg Marsh, Demetrios Zoppos, Chris Bruce, Michael Whitfield and Doug Monro.
  13. London based VR/AR company VRtuoso, which creates slides with 360° and two-dimensional content, like video, images, text, shapes and polls raised £490k Seed investment from Symvan Capital and Compagnia Bresciana Investimenti.
  14. Cambridge based HealthTech company Mogrify, which develops proprietary tailored cellular conversions that power every future cell therapy raised £2.83 million Seed investment from Ahren Innovation Capital, 24Haymarket and Dr Disley.
  15. Chesterfield based FinTech company Evolution Funding 2018, which provides automotive funding raised undisclosed private equity investment from LDC (Acquisition financed from Santander and Aviva Investors).
  16. Edinburg based SaaS company Spoonfed, which provides catering management software raised £760k Seed investment from Equity Gap.
  17. London based Semiconductor company Massless, which provides a flexible 3D pen for sketching, modelling and animation raised £1.54 million Seed investment from Founders Fund, Wendy Tan White, Vivi Nevo, Shrug Capital and Entrepreneur First.
  18. London based SecurTech company SenseOn Tech, which provides multiple threat-detection to detect malicious activity across an organisation’s entire digital estate raised £4.92 million Series A investment from Amadeus Capital Partners, MMC Ventures, CyLon, Crane Venture Partners and Mark Weatherford.
  19. London based SaaS company HiveMind, which specialising in the application of human and machine intelligence to complex unstructured data problems raised undisclosed investment from Barclays and Fidelity International.
  20. Manchester based HealthTech company Biorelate, which curates truths from existing knowledge, enabling smarter and faster research and development secured £300k Grant from InnovateUK.
  21. London based FinTech company GoCardless, which offers direct debit payment services raised £58 million Series E investment from Accel Partners, Adams Street Partners, Balderton Capital, Passion Capital and Notion Capital. .
