Happy 2019 my dear! I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are excited about the wonderful things this new year will bring.
Over the holiday break, I saw some movies (highly recommend Spiderman: into the Spiderverse), hung out with my nephew and experienced Jeniโ€™s ice cream in person for the first time. I had major plans to get a ton of stuff done with my blog so I could end the year productive but my body and mind were not feeling it. ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ So I listened and just took it easy.
I keep seeing these Year in Review posts and words of the year but I havenโ€™t done those or figured them out yet. I do know that I want to make the following things more of a priority this year:
  • Self-care (which Iโ€™ve realized that reading is a big part of)
  • Writing
  • Coaching / Mentoring
  • Side Hustling
So Iโ€™m sitting with that and maybe Iโ€™ll make harder goals around it but maybe I wonโ€™t. I like the idea of just showing up for those areas of my life and seeing how that goes.
If you are struggling to do the Year in Review, or finding a word or theme for the year or setting resolutions, give yourself a break and instead think of the areas in your life where you want to show up in 2019.
On to the picks!

Apply for Fear Experiment!
Check out Mac & Cheese Productionsโ€™ Fear Experimentโ„  (FE), a unique, fun way to create community, push oneself, learn something new, and laugh. A lot. Learn an art-form over two months โ€” this edition is improv, Broadway, or storytelling โ€” and then perform in front of 700.
The criteria to participate? You sign up solo and your inner-you should be saying โ€œYou want me to do what?!โ€ Because when you challenge yourself to do something scary, the bonds with others are fast and genuine, and the magic that results is infectious and life-changing.
The next FE starts in March and the application period is now. (I APPLIED TOO!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ)
