This week the TARS team participated in our weirdest team-building exercise till date. We went for group LASIK surgery!

The initial plan was to go for laser tag, but after a slight misreading of search results by a bespectacled web developer named Emmanual we found ourselves strapped into chairs getting lasers shot into our eyes.
Other than Emmanual, none of the rest of us have glasses, so the surgery was kinda pointless. Even so, the surgery was a surprisingly refreshing experience! I’d recommend it to anyone looking to kill a few hours on a Sunday.
Other than the dry eyes, itching and a rigorous eye drop regimen, the only annoying part of the whole process was right at the start on the landing page. The blocks of text, stock images and form made for a generally un-engaging lead gen experience that soured an otherwise pleasant LASIK surgery.
