In this week’s teardown, we took a look at the way small business owners discover loans and found the experience to be shocking.

We were doing all of this research about the contribution of small businesses to the economy, and the whole while we were picturing super-serious old people who wear suits to work and know the definition of “accounts receivable.”
Then we read the Small Business Administration’s definition of small businesses and realized that we are a non-manufacturing, non-mining business with less than $7.5m in annual sales and realized that not only did we know the definition of accounts receivable, but we were also for some reason wearing suits.
After that we took the whole teardown way more seriously because we might actually have to navigate one of the terrible Small Business Credit landing pages that we ended up finding!
