Anyways, before I ramble off into a tangent, let me tell you why that number is so awesome.
Every week I talk to people who are extensively using TARS bots. More often than not, their use case is lead generation. And why not! Bots are more engaging than forms or static webpages, so they increase conversion rates (#subtlety).
But, at some level this also makes me a little sad. While lead-gen is a great use, there is a whole world of other cases where bots work phenomenally well.
Which brings us to the magical 70%.
Alex told me that when their call centre is offline, TARS bot handles 70% of all service requests!
