The hype is real 🤩, v1.2 is finally out! So grab a cup of your favorite beverage and start getting familiar with the features and syntax 🧐.
This week I bring you a very cool tutorial about testing your tailwind plugins (it’s easier than you think!), another nice tailwind site and… a plug… Yep, I’m plugging something this week, a tool that has completely changed my frontend dev workflow for the better and I just had to tell you all about it!

PS. If anyone feels like contributing to the docs for any of the new features at all, it would be a big help 🙏🏻 just stubbing out the pages with the class table at the top would be an amazing start.

Our BDFL had quite a week writing all the docs for the v1.2 launch so if you want to contribute and help him out a bit feel free to check the docs for any errors, typos or whatever you think can be improved. PRs are very welcome!

I know, I know. I was boring you with so many “Get Started with Tailwind” tutorials, so this week I’m treating you with an old but great article. Interested in writing your own tailwind plugins? Maybe you want to release them on NPM? Then tests are definitely important!

Another week, another cool site made with Tailwind ❤️. Valohai helps you automate MLOps and offers version control for data, code, hyperparameters and more. The site looks minimal and clean, very polished. I’m quite a fan of the header font!

Resource of the week
Polypane - A better Sizzy alternative
Now folks, I have a plug to make. Like many of you, I discovered Sizzy when Adam mentioned it on twitter, added it to my dev workflow and even paid for it for a few months but… felt there was something missing.
After doing some more research (AKA “googling”) I came across Polypane. It looked like a cheaper alternative to Sizzy with the same features so I decided to try it for the trial and let me tell you… I was blown away!
This thing is FAST and the synchronized scrolling works amazingly (which was my main pet peeve with Sizzy), to top it off it has a special feature that recognizes the media queries your project is using and automatically creates “panes” based on them so no need to do that manually every time.
Not convinced yet? Polypane recently released their v2 and they added A LOT of new stuff. Feel free to read the blog post and prepare to be impressed.
