Good News:
The Robot Block Party is back on April 2 - celebrating National Robotics Week at Circuit Launch in Oakland. Free booths for makers and artists, or students. It’s also a Job Fair!
Bad News:
It’s been a bad couple of weeks for a lot of roboticists and engineers in the Ukraine and Russia.
IEEE RAS Industry Activities Board would like to collect and share offers from industry, as IEEE RAS members are in academia in surrounding countries are throwing open their university dormitories and labs. Email ras@ieee.org
National Academy of Sciences has established a fund to support relocation of Ukrainian scientists and their families.
The Ukraine Tech Collective (UTC) matches international software developers with job vacancies left by Ukrainian software engineers called on to defend their country from Russian invasion. Software developers and tech companies from around the globe donate their skills and resources to provide work cover for their Ukrainian peers as to provide financial stability to their families.
