This week in the digital economy.

Our latest blog on Innovating for Sustainability, the update from ENDuRE, plus the healthcare/insurance/AI connection.

Three Stages of Sustainability: Which one is your business?
Read below about the results of various field trials of wearable devices by CoDE’s David Plans. This is a joint activity between CoDE and the spin-off company he founded, BioBeats. Very interesting study:
‘Building on the success of previous trials with AXA PPP Healthcare, BioBeats, the leader in digital health and artificial intelligence, has completed one of the largest studies on corporate stress and wellness with leading financial services company, BNP Paribas, an AXA PPP Healthcare client.
The academic trial with BNP Paribas is part of BioBeats’ focus on transforming the way organisations use data to help employees understand their health, connect the dots and manage their wellbeing by providing personalised interventions based on artificial intelligence (AI).’

Now here’s the latest from the European Network of Design for Resilient Entrepreneurship (ENDuRE): “Following on from last summer’s Digital Entrepreneurship Advanced Lab (DEAL) course, start-up Golfers’ Match was selected as the company for the ENDuRE Mobility - entrepreneurial exchange programme. Golfers’ Match CEO and Founder, Antonio Specchia, won the all-expenses-paid, 2 month opportunity for his company to be hosted in Italy by Italian Tech Park [POLO Tecnologico di Navacchio] following a week of rigorous assessments, which included being filmed giving a ‘live’ elevator pitch to a panel of Angel Investors. The purpose is for the entrepreneur to benefit from ENDuRE’s flagship international exchange programme through the provision of tools and methodologies gained from the first-hand mobility hosting experience. Antonio has been on the ground in Italy since the end of September and is due to return to the UK at the beginning of December when he will be presenting his experiences at the upcoming ENDuRE National Conference. Stay tuned for more news on this story next month!”
