Visa saw more growth in payments in November, including a 27 percent spike in online payments, a filing from the Securities and Exchange Commission stated.
Retail Ecommerce Ventures added another brand to its growing conglomerate with the $6.02 million purchase of Stein Mart’s intellectual property, according to a company press release. Grocery shoppers in the United States spent $5.9 billion on delivery and pickup orders during November, up 3.6% from the $5.7 billion they spent on those services in August, according to the most recent grocery shopping survey conducted by Brick Meets Click and Mercatus.
Using data collected by marketing research firm 210 Analytics and IRI, Grocery Dive examined sales across 11 categories at multiple outlets, including grocery, dollar and mass merchandisers.
Online luxury sales had been ramping up for some time as consumers became more comfortable with buying used items online, and auction houses and other resellers explored strategies beyond the traditional high-touch model of live sales.
