What is a Hybrid Cat?
As we admire Bengal or Savannah hybrids, let us not forget the price of their breeding, and how maladjusted to being house pets most of these hybrids are. Read up. The US is more lenient than Switzerland when it comes to wild and hybrid animal ownership, but that doesn’t mean we should turn a blind eye to the consequences of glamorising hybrids. For example: a Serval would rather kill/eat a domestic cat than mate with it – but that is what must happen to produce a Savannah hybrid. And yes, many will die.

Post-VR Sadness: Is Virtual Reality Dissociating People From Reality?
I share this with some uneasiness, because it reminds me of all the fear and alarmism around the internet and “virtual relationships”. And because this time, unlike with the internet, I am watching this mainly from the outside. I have very limited VR experience. I loved it. But I can already feel that I could get completely sucked up in it. I have already felt touches of this “post-something sadness”. After spending a whole week-end binge-watching my favorite TV series. After spending a day role-playing. After too much reading immersed in a fantasy world. I am looking forward to more experiences with VR, but I can’t hide that I’m a little worried about how my brain will react.
