European Commission confirms 2-year EUDAMED delay
MedTech industry news reports EUDAMED will be delayed until May 2022. Intended to improve the transparency and coordination of medical device information in the EU, the database will contain modules for actors, UDIs, vigilance, post-market surveillance, clinical investigations and performance studies, as well as notified bodies and certificates.
