Hey Sports Tech Fans,
It’s been a very busy week in the world of sports tech in terms of deals and IPO’s.
Roger Federer’s shoe company debuted to an $11billion valuation on the NYSE while Sportradar followed Genius Sports in listing on Nasdaq as sports data providers continue to go from strength to strength.
Crypto is continuing its take over of the sports world with two significant deals with the Drone Racing League securing $100 million in a partnership with Algorand, while Crypto.com have added to their sports portfolio with sponsoring esports team Fnatics to the tune of $15 million.
Loads of other great stories below.
Earlier this summer a dear friend of mine suffered a tragic accident that resulted in a life changing spinal injury leaving him in a wheelchair.
My friends and I have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help Rich with the expensive medical care, modifications to his house & car and the equipment he will need to live life to the max.
Rich is a huge Formula1 and Chelsea fan and a regular reader and contributor to the newsletter.
I would be forever in your debt if you can help out in anyway possible; by contributing directly to the campaign, sharing it via your social channels or in any other way you think can help out Rich.
Have a great sporting weekend,
Will
