Social Enterprise

Tools for building the future.

How might we design an ecosystem that is fertile ground for growing social entrepreneurs who build businesses that unlock the underutilized potential from within our communities?
Preincubation refers to a specific stage of the venture life cycle. It is when the entrepreneur experiences the inception of an idea.
The essence of an idea is influenced by the environment, the ecosystem, of which the founder is immersed. The “essence” refers to the purpose, the intention, the reason for the idea to be in existence.
Does the idea grow up to be a company focused on short-sighted priorities? Does the idea grow up to be a social enterprise that makes our world a better place for more of us? Does the idea drift away into the universe before it has a chance to realize its full potential?
What does your ecosystem - your learning environment - look like? How might you intentionally design your environment to influence the inception of your ideas? Click reply to tell me!
