Simon's sign of the times

November 11 · Issue #34 · View online
This newsletter shares a sign of the times in the world of brands, culture & tech. Please read it 🐌, it’ll be worth your time.

First things first...
Hereby I wanted to let you know that I’ve started working with Festina Amsterdam. For real. Why? Well, after being a freelance strategist for 2,5 years it kinda felt like a dead end. And the idea of having a dedicated team to work with, while doing the work that feels relevant, started to make complete sense.
So, if ever you are in need of a future proof brand strategy, a digital product that effectively works or aim to do a project with a co-entrepreneurial spirit? Don’t hesitate to say hi or swing by.

Future Library
Future Library, a slow concept by Katie Paterson. The idea? She planted 1000 trees in Nordmarka, a forest just outside Oslo, which will supply paper for a special anthology of books to be printed in one hundred years time. Between now and then, one writer every year will contribute a text, with the writings held in trust, unpublished, until 2114 😮.
That’s it for issue #34, enjoy your day. Oh, and in case you don’t know what to listen to, listen to this great six-hour set ♫
