Victory is the only thing that could make us forget an emotional week after Jon Gruden’s resignation. Hopefully, the team can keep it rolling in a winnable game versus the Eagles this week. They must keep the Rich Bisaccia mad and professional mentality.
Philly brings a good pass rush, tight end and mobile quarterback which could make this a setup game. However, the Raiders are at home. Last week, their offense finally showed potential with Josh Jacobs and Kenyon Drake carving up the defense. Henry Ruggs hit a couple deep strikes.
The defense also got back into the turnover column. Shoutout to Solomon Thomas for that strip sack. Vegas registered three interceptions. The Chargers also lost which put the Raiders tied for the first spot in the AFC West.
Either way, it feels nice to focus on the football product rather than the leader of the ship. Here’s my column previewing this week’s matchup and the top stories from the week.
