Many people remember the Dolphins comeback win last year to end the Raiders playoff hopes when both teams had different starters. However, don’t forget the Chargers put the nail in the Raiders’ 2020 season.
Regardless, the Raiders are undefeated. They’re a few calls and OTs away from being 1-2 though.
That’s why many call this the Raiders first real test. They go against a division foe with a winning record. Sole first place is on the line. It’ll be a home game for L.A. technically but we all know the spirit of the L.A. Raiders and beyond will takeover. Here’s what else you need to know from the week.

What’s Up With The O-Line?
Alex Leatherwood improved in his third NFL start. Andre James is still working through growing pains.
A Couple of Chargers Return
Casey Hayward is looking like the steal of free agency after he made a safety last week. Denzel Perryman also came over later via trade. He continues as a tackle machine. Both are healthier than they were with the Bolts. They also know Gus Bradley’s scheme since he was with the Chargers too.
Don’t Forget: Darius Philon also had two seasons with more than four sacks in L.A. He started his career with the San Diego Chargers and played with the organization from 2014-18.

The average ticket is…
  • LV: Raiders are 2-1 against the spread this season
  • LAC: Under has hit in all three Chargers’ games this season
All-Time Record: Raiders lead 66-55-2
Key Prop: Justin Herbert over 293.5 passing yards. Herbert has surpassed 300 passing yards over 10-of-18 starts. Raiders will look to control the clock and keep him off the field. It will be hard if Herbert carves them for more than 300 yards.
Around the AFC West: Broncos were blown out by the Ravens. The Chiefs came back versus the Eagles. The Chargers are off a narrow win over Kansas City. First Place is up for grabs tonight.
