SHAP Activities
  • SHAP has galvanised action for retrofit by two consortia which will submit Community Renewal Fund bids for project(s) to test new approaches to creating retrofit-ready communities. The project(s) will bring together grass roots organisations and communities to prepare for retrofit, and support those furthest from training into skills development, and work with the supply chain on retrofit scale-up, accreditation and quality assurance to be able to respond to longer-term retrofit pipelines.
  • The Warm Homes Save Lives fuel poverty programme proposal, developed by a wide partnership and coordinated by SHAP, has resulted in the creation of exciting new roles with the WMCA to take the FPRR (Fuel Poverty and Regional Retrofit) forward. Info links below.
  • SHAP is contributing to the Whole-Life Carbon Roadmap working group, led by UKGBC as part of the domestic retrofit task group.
