What do y'all do when you’re on the toilet? TikTok? Anime? Audible?

Goal for the week
  • Recovering from burnout. So I burned out, like really bad. How do you recover from burnout? Just do literally EVERYTHING you want to do. Well, not everything. These past couple of days, I was literally doing all the things I knew wasn’t the best for me. I ate 3 donuts in one day, I watched anime like no tomorrow, I took my phone to bed instead of leaving it in the other room. I did things that I haven’t done in months and it felt great! That’s exactly how I got out of my burnout runt. I realized how the good habits I was cultivating actually benefited me. Go figure right? Most self-help gurus will tell you to take that vacation you’ve been putting off or quit that job you hate so much. Let’s be honest, that isn’t practical. I think the best way to get out of a runt/ beat burnout as quickly as possible is to just do what you want to do. Don’t quit your job but indulge in life’s sweeter things. I’m not telling you to relapse but don’t torture yourself any more than you have to, especially when you’re in a runt.
