Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV) … let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith …”
Every month, the SP staff identifies a character trait that we believe a worker of Christ should have in His vineyard. Last June, it was endurance. It is not only the staff that needs to run the race with endurance, which Christ has set before us, but each child does as well.
Endurance, according to the Oxford Dictionary, is the capacity of something (or someone in this case) to last or withstand wear and tear. How have we at SP, and you reading this newsletter, endured?
But GOD…!
Endurance, according to Hebrews 12, is looking unto Jesus! Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, we lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us.
Today, we pause to look to Jesus, to remember His goodness, to lay aside the thoughts that weigh us down. We put on our helmet of salvation, and our armor, and keep running the race!

PRICELESS! SP Founders Marc & Marilen Morris enjoy a Messenger Call with the family before they depart SP. Your prayers and love gifts make possible these forever family pictures. Also in the photo enjoying the moment are SP's Residential social worker and two special friends. It is truly a priceless experience!

Except to go to the doctor or to process government requirements, the SP children have not left the SP premises since January 2020. We are so thankful for the location and facilities God has provided SP and the way it operates throughout the year. The kids stay busy. After learning time, the staff implement activities for the kids within the homes and neighborhood.

None of us are teachers by trade so, with help from friends like you, SP purchased a kit which we use to prepare SP's younger children to enter formal schooling.

Look at all the smiles! Picnic time and fruit picking time! Have you ever had a Jackfruit (bottom left picture)? It is good as is or cooked with some delicious Filipino dishes.
