Hi there,
I am the most productive when I have less time in the day to get things done as opposed to having the entire day to work. If I need to be somewhere in the afternoon, I plan my morning and knock off everything that matters in 4-5 hours - calls, emails, research, troubleshooting etc. If I have the entire day, I’ll probably take more time than required for the same task. This is called Parkinson’s law - “work expands to fill the time available for its completion.”
Next week, try putting a hard deadline for your workday and see your productivity soar. For now, have a good weekend ahead!
PS - If you listen to music while working, try the Headspace (not the same as the meditation app)
playlist on Apple Music. This gets me in deep work.
