Hi there,
I hope you and your family are healthy and safe. As we together battle this outbreak and are home bound, it is a good time to slow down, think, read, reflect, write or just pick up a new skill (see
Duolingo if you want to learn a new language). Being homebound doesn’t feel good at first but it’s not so bad if you change your perspective. I have been homebound since more than a month due to a health issue so here are the things I have been doing besides work and managing a remote team…
Reading (The Manual, Tribe of Mentors, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century). I am currently reading Ray Dalio’s Principles.
Learning mobile app development with
Flutter. I loved programming until entrepreneurship came in the way :)
Listening to a podcast a day. My current shows are a16z, Bulletproof Radio, How I built this with Guy Raz, On Purpose, The Kevin Rose Show, School of Greatness, The Stack Overflow Podcast, The Tim Ferris Show.
Doing a 1000 piece puzzle with the fam (pic below)
Starting to meditate 10 minutes a day.
A bit of Netflix post dinner :)
Always look at the bright side and keep learning!
