Hi there,
This week’s issue focuses on work - ideas for succeeding in long term projects, what you should be working on (putting your values first) and new features on the iPad OS that can help you work better. If you haven’t already, do pick up “Deep Work” - with so many distractions around us, the creators of tomorrow will have mastered the skill of going deep (focused, long uninterrupted time) into their work - this is going to be a coveted skill!
What blew my mind was the podcast that I heard on the popular meditation app, Headspace. Started from nothing and now they generate around $100 million in revenue! A meditation app! Anything is possible.
Do reply to this mail if you have any questions, suggestions etc.
Have a great week and enjoy the issue!

Kindle Highlight of the Week
“If you suddenly decide, for example, in the middle of a distracted afternoon spent Web browsing, to switch your attention to a cognitively demanding task, you’ll draw heavily from your finite willpower to wrest your attention away from the online shininess. Such attempts will therefore frequently fail. On the other hand, if you deployed smart routines and rituals—perhaps a set time and quiet location used for your deep tasks each afternoon—you’d require much less willpower to start and keep going. In the long run, you’d therefore succeed with these deep efforts far more often.”
