Hello friends, I hope you are enjoying the last day of this decade, in a style that makes most sense for you.
This morning I managed to get out for my last run of 2019, which I dedicated to some thoughtful contemplation about the year ahead. I get the sense that 2020 will bring with it a whole lot of clarity… if you know what I mean 😉
Why? Because it’s on New Years day! Rick Worley was the reason the Texas Marathon was setup in 2000. He was working on setting a Guinness World Record for the most marathons on consecutive weekends when he ran 200 in 159 consecutive weeks. There was not a marathon being held during the Christmas weekend and he needed one.
Clarify for some 2020 clarity! This guy makes some truly beautiful undulating music for those contemplative runs. Lane 8 is signed to AnjunaDeep if you want to sound some more of this flavour.
Run 777 tour updates
Swag! Yup, you know you love a bit of swag. This week whilst indulging in a little too much food and wine I got busy working on the gear for May 2020’s Central and Eastern Europe Tour - Maybe it was wine… but this is what happened 😜
A reminder that entry for the 2020 tour closes next week Tuesday the 7th of January.

Fork in the road
I came across this fork in the road on my run out in Kent earlier this week… seemed appropriate given the end-of-year resolution thing. Here’s some related fork in the road wisdom I dug out from Seth Godin’s 2013 blog archive:
The fork in the road offers only two difficulties:
Seeing it and taking it
Well, that’s all for this decade folks! I wish you and your families a happy healthy 202o. And remember, keep running towards better!
